What is Psalms' book about?
In this opportunity I am gonna share with you an study of Psalms' book.
1. This is an eminently devotional book.
2. It consists of prayers, testimonies and praises.
3. It shows an intimate communion with God. It can classified the psalms in the following form:
a) Mystics. (soul communing with God).
Example: Psalms 42
b) Prophetic. Example: Psalms 110. who speaks prophetically verse 4?__of Jesus____________
(vide Hebrews 5: 5-6)
c) Historical. Example: Psalms 105.
d) Imprecatory. (which curses). Example: Psalms 58.
(vide the verses 6, 7, 8 and 10)
Note: In the imprecatory psalms is crying out for revenge. This attitude is improper for believers of Christ of the dispensation of Grace.
4. It alternates conflicts and triumphs, gradually dominate the praises, culminating in the great universal chorus Psalms contained in the 145 to 150.
5. It begins exalting the blessed man (Jesus), Psalms 1, and ends magnifying the Father Shrine, Psalms 150.

It was divided in five books that, in this case, ands with a doxology (praises).
First Book: 1-41_________ Doxology: 41: 13
Second Book: 42-72______ Doxology: 72:19
Third Book: 73-89________ Doxology: 89: 52
Fourth Book: 90-106______Doxology: 106: 48
Fifth Book: 107-150_______Doxology: whole psalm 150 is doxology.
Summary:
Psalms were sung at meetings at church, accompanied of instrumental music. David was the first author of Psalms' book. Psalms serve for instruction, inspiration and consolation. They are composed by prayers, testimonies and praises to God for His fairhful and blessed.
