We are earthen vessels!!!

I am gonna share with you this testimony of the pastor Cristobal Ceniceros. I add some verses to understand better tha relationship that it has with the Bible.

It's a good example of what in reality we are.

I pretty sure that you are going to enjoy it.

Here we have:

When I was preaching in Nuevo Ladero, I used to preach almost in every meeting.

I preached 8 continuous months, but nobody had accepted God in their life.

In that time, I used to think that nobody could preach as me. I underestimated many brethen in God who started the Ministery of preaching sacred God's word. I just invited some ministers who I thought that they couldn't share anything. From my point of view, I didn't want that they did me shadow.

James 2:9- But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

One day, the opportunity came to brother in Christ who was a fighter. I noticed that he was simple in his way of talking and dressing, so I thought: " I am gonna permit him to preach; I cannot lose anything." That night, the brother in Christ shared his own testimony how God had saved him, and freed him of the environment of quadrilaterals. We had a beatufil meeting. In that night, God saved a marriage.

Everybody enjoyed the meeting lees me!! Do you know why? The answer is my pride!

Luke 14:11-For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

While I was praying God at the altar, I told God:

"I have almost 8 months in this altar screaming like a crazy behind this pulpit, and  You have not saved anyone. Now this insignificant fighter comes, and You uses him. I am really upset with You.

Galatians 5:26- Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

2 Corinthians 10: 17-18- But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

For not he that commendeth himself is approved,  but whom the Lord commendeth.

Nobody knew about my complaint to God at the altar. They believed that God had touched me, too because they looked my tears. Actually, the tears were of anger because the salvation of the marriage.

Over time, I learned that we are just messengers of God. 

God uses who he wants.

1 Corinthians 12: 7-11-

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

  To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

  To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

  But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

Pablo says: I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. ( 1 Corinthians 3:6)

The reader say: Why would I share this experience?

I shared this experience because there are many brethen in God who are starting the ministery, and satan is using the same weapons.

2 Corinthians 2:11-Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Also,  those who have more time in the ministry do not let satan apply their weapons in you.
Remember that we are just earthen vessels. Wealth and knowledge belong to God. He distributes as He wants.

1 Corinthians 12:18- But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

The reflexion is:

Do not be vanaglorios because God is the only who has glory and honor.
